  • Double acting trip mechanism, the trap will activate no matter which side of the trip plate the magpie, bird or animal lands on.
  • Large removable mirror, great for helping to trap inquisitive magpies and other birds. Easy to remove for cleaning, or for trapping pests that do not require the mirror.
  • Sensitive trip mechanism, will trap small birds like sparrows, as well as small rats.
  • Locking door system and a small 25mm mesh size, prevents escape of the trapped magpie, bird or animal.
  • Dimensions: 500mm long x 280mm wide x 280mm high (not including door rails).

Use a suitable food bait to lure the target bird or animal into the trap.

These traps work well in pairs, particularly when trapping magpies.

Animal Trap

Trap works really well. We get a lot of wild kittens born in our hay shed and the kids love to catch them and tame them. Trap catches cat not trouble at all.

Great quality trap

Great quality and has caught two possums so far.
We are hoping to catch magpies soon.

These traps are awesome.

Since Easter I have caught 5 rats, 6 hedgehogs, 1 minah bird and 25 Magpies.
In the last few weeks I use two traps in pairs and leave a live magpie in the trap until until I catch another in the 2nd trap.
Then dispose of the first magpie and repeat.
I usually catch a magpie each day while I am away at work.
So I only have a fresh magpie held overnight for the next day.
If I stay home (and inside) I can get 3 mapies a day if I empty the trap promptly.
However on a Saturday when I am out and about on the property the magpies keep away.
I have had success with dog roll, cheese or dripping.
Dripping is cheapest bait and waterproof.

Fussy trapper

Excellent delivery service and courier tracing.
After 2 weeks trapped our first very cunning mina.
Left the trap in place unset but with bait outside and in the trap.
Finally they got right inside the unset trap and took the bait.
Then with the trap set 2 weeks later ...mina in the cage!
Suggestion is - trigger mechanism needs to be more easily set.
